1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Swappr account and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a current tenant to use Swappr. The information you provide during sign up, including your name and date of birth, must match your tenancy agreement.
3. Home Swapping
Swappr facilitates introductions between tenants who wish to exchange their homes. We do not own, manage, or guarantee any property listed on the platform, and any exchange remains subject to approval by the relevant landlord or housing authority.
If you mark your home as swapped, you must only name the member you actually swapped with. Marking a home as swapped removes it from matches until you list it again.
4. User Conduct
You agree to provide accurate information, to treat other users with respect, and not to use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose. You must never ask other members for money, deposits or fees. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these standards.
5. Community
Community is available to verified members only. Before your first post or reply you must accept the Community rules, and you agree to follow them whenever you use Community.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post anything that is offensive, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, unlawful, or that shares another person's address or personal information. Keep contact details and links to other services out of posts and replies.
You are responsible for what you post. By posting, you allow Swappr to display your posts and replies to other members within the app. You can delete your own posts and replies at any time.
You can report any post or reply and block any member. Our team reviews reports and may remove any content that breaks these Terms or the Community rules, without notice. Members who post such content may have their access to Community restricted or their account suspended or closed.
6. Limitation of Liability
Swappr is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a swap arrangement, communication between users, content posted by other members, or reliance on information shown in the app.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
